I was so proud to take the Year 3 and 4 choir along to Woodhaugh Rest Home. They sung two songs beautifully and had big smiles on their faces. After singing they went around and spoke to the residents. Everyone had a wonderful time and we even had to do an encore performance before we left!!! Thank you to the fabulous parents who came with us and to Natalis who has been helping us each week.

Farewell to Emilio
Today we farewelled Emilio with a very tasty shared lunch. We hope him and his family have a wonderful time in Italy and we look forward to talking to Emilio soon on Skype.
Wacky Weather with Rose
Rose shared her goal with us this morning about weather. She went on the Met Service website each day in April and recorded information about the high, low, wind and rainfall for both Dunedin and Hokitika. She then made spreadsheets and graphs to present her information. Rose made a magnificent poster and even had questions to ask us about each of the areas. What an outstanding effort Rose!!

Compassion Projects
We are collecting two different items in Room 10 this week and we have started with a hiss and a roar!
Here is a photo of the cans that we already have for Octocan.
Here is a photo of the amazing bracelets and necklaces that people have been making for More FM. They will be taken to the Children's ward at the hospital and the hospice to brighten up their day.
If you would like to donate to either of these wonderful causes, then please send them along on or before Thursday 19th of June.

Have you ever heard of Cup Stacking?
Today in Room 10 we were treated to an amazing display of Cup Stacking! When Mrs Spencer was on duty at lunch time she saw Harry Deveraux practising this skilful sport and invited him over to show us how it was done. Wow, he was fast!
