What a wonderful job all the Room 10 speech finalists did!

Maya won the Year 3 speech competition and Lucy came second.  Rose came second in the Year 4 competition.  Impressive work!

Super Speedsters

Well done to our super fast runners Darcie and Connor who both gained places at the Cross Country.

 Darcie won the Year 4 Girls race.

Connor came 3rd in the Year 3 Boys race.

They will both go on to represent George Street Normal School at the Zone Cross Country.

Farewell to Jaafar

In true Room 10 style we farewelled Jaafar with a delicious shared lunch.  We will all miss him and wish his family all the best.

Ethan Our Computer Whiz

Well if you need help on the computer then ask Ethan.  He earned a Distinction in the ICAS Computer Skills exam.  That means he got in the top 10% of New Zealand!!!

Charlotte Wins Silver!

In her first ever gymnastics competition Charlotte performed so well that she earned second overall and the silver medal!  Well done Charlotte!
