Grace and Eva have been working hard on their strength based goal - to perform a ballet recital to the class.  Today we were so impressed with their talent and they looking amazing!  Well done girls!

ROOM 10'S PLAYs

This week   room 10 did  4  different  plays in our   reading  groups.  We all  worked  together.      
The cranes did  Waiting   for  the  Feast.  The monkeys did Tui in  a Tree.  The pandas did Communication   Breakdown   and  the  tigers  did  Smile,  Please.   We practise them during the week and then perform them to the class on Thursday at reading time.

Aladdin - A Christmas Wish On Ice

Maya and Eva are both performing Aladdin at the Dunedin Ice Skating rink this weekend.  They have been taking ice skating lessons and this is their end of year performance.  There are shows on Saturday and Sunday so have a look on the Dunedin Ice Stadium website to find out.  Good luck girls!!!

One of Room 10s amazing authors - Sam!

Sam has been entertaining us all year at WWT with his famous character, Benuli. On Friday he presented his finished learning commitment goal - to write a story that had a beginning, middle and an end. He made a fantastic job of his book, which had beautiful illustrations.

Babet's Delicious 'Chocolate Crinkle Cookies'

Room 10 enjoyed Babet's baking power point, which showed us how to make a delicious Dutch treat. Then, we were lucky enough to sample the cookies! Yum!

The Sun - A friend or foe?

We have been enjoying our topic on the sun and finding out whether it is a friend or a foe.  Last week and this week we have been using the UV beads to help us do some experimenting.

Mr Nichols

Ziggy enjoyed taking on the role as teacher to some small groups of room 10 students.  He was teaching them how to create using multi-link cubes.  Well done Ziggy!
